Scotland Yard has stepped up its appeal to find a missing teenager as the search enters its second month.

The Met said it was "growing increasingly concerned" for Destiny Hyacinth, 16, who vanished on April 10.

She was last seen in Staffordshire, though London detectives believe she could be in Islington or Shepherd's Bush. She has family in the north of the capital.

The last sighting of the teenager was in Kings Bromley, where she lives. Police described her as 5ft 5ins tall, with a pale complexion and brown eyes.

It is not thought there have been any sightings of her since she vanished.

A spokeswoman tonight declined to reveal whether police had received any leads on Destiny's whereabouts.

Anyone who has information about Destiny is asked to call officers on 101, quoting reference 15MIS013522.
