Car flipped on its roof after dramatic crash in Islington

A car rests on its roof after it flipped over in a crash in north London today.

Police said two cars were involved in a collision in Islington at around 2:10pm this afternoon.

The London Ambulance Service said it treated a man in his 30s for for shock and minor injuries. He did not require hospital treatment, according to a spokeswoman.

A dramatic image of the aftermath of the crash, in Hornsey Road, was posted on social media.

Leary Wright posted on Facebook: "Let's hope occupants and/or anyone else involved are not seriously hurt."

Transport for London confirmed the road was closed northbound between Tollington Road and Seven Sisters Road after the crash.

Police said there had been no arrests.
