Boy, 5, injured after falling from a window in south-west London

A five-year-old boy has been injured after falling from a window in south-west London.

Police were called by paramedics to Sheephouse Way, New Malden, after reports a child had fallen from a building on Thursday.

London's Air Ambulance also attended and landed at Richard Challoner School.

The boy was taken to hospital shortly after 4.45pm.

His condition is currently unknown.

A Metropolitan Police Service spokesman said enquiries into the circumstances of the fall were ongoing.
