A woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after an ambulance car crashed with a Smart vehicle on a busy road in south London.
Police were called to Kentish Way, at the junction with Mason's Hill, in Bromley at 2.30pm on Wednesday to reports of a two car collision.
Ambulance crews said a woman in her 30s was taken to Kings College Hospital as a "priority".
Pictures from the scene show both vehicles were badly damaged with debris strewn on the road.

Police have warned drivers to avoid the area with some road closures put in place.

A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "A London Ambulance Service car was involved in a road traffic collision with another car at Kentish Way in Bromley at 2.33pm today (Wednesday 20 January) .
"We sent an ambulance crew, a single responder by car and two incident response officers to the scene.
"We treated a woman reported to be in her thirties who was taken as a priority to Kings College Hospital.
"The paramedic, although shaken, was not taken to hospital."
