A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed on a busy high street.

The victim, 24, was attacked at 1.45pm on Thursday, 19 May in Fairfield Road, West Drayton.

The Met Police were called along with specialist paramedics in London’s Air Ambulance.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: “At the scene a 24-year-old man was found with a knife injury.

“He was taken by LAS to a west London hospital. We await an update on his condition.”

At this early stage there have been no arrests.
