A teenage boy was today stabbed in a broad daylight street attack in south west London.
Police rushed to Craneford Way in Twickenham at just before 12.50pm on Thursday following reports of an assault.
When officers arrived they found a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed. Paramedics took him to a central London hospital.
He is expected to survive but his injuries could be life-changing, the Met Police said.
No one has yet been arrested and enquiries continue.
One person on social media said the stabbing happened near to Richmond-upon-Thames College.
According to the Richmond and Twickenham Times, the college said the incident had no link to the college or its students.
Police said their enquiries are continuing and they have asked anyone with any information to get in touch.
