Teen charged with murder of boy, 16, after park stabbing

A teenager will appear in court on Tuesday charged with murder after a 16-year-old was stabbed repeatedly in Yiewsley.

Police and paramedics found a 16-year-old boy suffering from stab wounds.

Despite the efforts of medical professionals he was pronounced dead at the scene at 8.25pm.

A post-mortem took place on Sunday and gave the cause of death as stab injuries.

Police said his next of kin are aware but formal identification awaits.

An online tribute to the alleged victim from a PE teacher, read: “Such heartbreaking news.

“He was spirited, full of energy and a lot of fun to teach. May he get home to Romania safely.”

A 16-year-old will appear in custody at Ealing Youth Court charged with murder.
