Police raided a party at Soho flat which had been rented online for the event with some of the revellers too young to even be fined.
Officers found 13 people in an apartment ignoring rules on social distancing and not mixing households.
Some of the group were referred for £200 fines while others were so young the police just escorted them to their homes.
Soho in Westminster is a world famous party zone bristling with pubs and restaurants but has been all but deserted during lockdown.
The revellers went online to book the flat but police were tipped off about the bash.
Liz rhodes hodes tweeted: "Unbelievable that people can still do this, mainly young people! If anyone says that it's the poor youngsters who are suffering lockdown with no freedom! Give me a break, enforcing these actions will at last make them realise the scale of the problem!
Nigel Morris wrote: "A Party is bad enough, but on a school night.?. Good work. Hope you enforce the full extent of prosecution, to all concerned."
A police statement said: "At 01:40 response team officers were called to an address on Old Compton St, #Soho.Inside, officers found 13 people having a party. The flat was rented online.
"A number were reported for consideration of £200 fines & a the rest taken home due to their age. #StayHome."
The police added that the fines were £200 rather than £800 because there were 13 people at the party and the higher penalty kicked in for groups of over 15.
