This is the shocking moment a driver backed into a market stall in Bethal Green, leaving a pedestrian injured in a suspected hit-and-run crash.
A blue convertible sports car can be seen reversing down the Bethnal Green road in east London before smashing into the roadside stall.
The car then drives off without stopping.
Police said emergency services raced to the scene shortly before 3.30 on November 25 and the victim was rushed to an east London hospital.
They searched the area but could not find the car.
The victim was not seriously injured, according to officers.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 15.23 hours on November 25 to Bethnal Green Road to reports of a collision.
"A car had collided with a stall holder. LAS attended.The injured victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening and non-life changing injuries.
"The car did not stop at the scene. No arrests have been made.
"Officers carried out a search of the area but the vehicle wasn't found.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 3.23pm on Friday (25 November) to reports of a road traffic collision at Bethnal Green Road.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a motorcycle paramedic to the scene. The first of our medics arrived at the scene in under six minutes.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a hospital in east London.”
