Police are hunting this man after a model was allegedly racially assaulted by a commuter at a busy Tube station.
Mahaneela Choudhury-Reid, 21, said she was called a "n*****" by a man who she said kicked and shoved her during the alleged attack at Regent's Park station as she travelled to work yesterday.
Detectives today released a CCTV image of a man wanted in connection wanted in connection with the alleged incident, which happened at around 10.30am.
Miss Choudhary-Reid earlier told of her shock as she said other passengers - as well as Underground staff and two uniformed soldiers - "stood and watched" as she was allegedly attacked.
Detective Inspector Gabriel Oresajo, of the British Transport Police, said: “The victim had travelled from Kensal Green to Regent’s Park, entering the lift in order to leave the station.
“Whilst in the lift, she was subjected to verbal and physical abuse, which left her very upset."
Miss Choudhury-Reid, who has featured in campaigns for Nike and online retailer ASOS, said earlier: “I was in floods of tears. I was so angry and hurt."
Phil Hufton, London Underground’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “All of our customers have the right to use our services without fear of being abused. We will not tolerate offensive behaviour towards our customers or staff and we will work with BTP to fully investigate this incident.”
