The 26-year-old British woman who was stabbed to death while working at a Christmas attraction in Lapland has been named as Rebecca Johnson from Fife in Scotland.

The young tour guide was found dead on Saturday in the Finnish village of Kuttanen.

Finnish police said her 36-year-old Czech boyfriend has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Ms Johnson’s family confirmed her death to local newspaper The Courrier describing her as “a beautiful girl”.
