A murder probe has been launched after a woman was found dead at a home in north London.
Police and paramedics were called to Melrose Avenue, Cricklewood, at 8.10am yesterday morning and found the body of a woman in her 40s.
Detectives believe they know the identity of the woman and her next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.
The Homicide and Major Crime Command is investigating and no arrests have currently been made.
