Detectives investigating a stabbing in Enfield have charged a man with attempted murder.

Andrew Marangos, 42, also faces one count of being in possession of an offensive weapon.

The suspect from Enfield will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Police were called at just before 6.25pm 11 January to reports of a man found injured inside a car in Swan Way.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found the victim in his 60s with stab injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
