Detectives investigating a stabbing in Clerkenwell have released an image of a man they wish to identify.

Police were called at 4.50pm on June 17 to reports of a stabbing on Northampton Square.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a 16-year-old boy on the nearby King Square Estate with a knife wound to the stomach.

He was taken to a north London hospital where his condition is not life threatening.

Anyone who knows the identity of the male pictured should call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 5181/17JUN.
