A man has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was found in a residential property in Hayes.

Wojciech Tadewicz, 26, is accused of killing 32-year-old Sandra Zmijan.

Scotland Yard said Ms Zmijan, from Southall, had been discovered in the garden of a property in Hayes on Monday morning.

A post mortem gave the cause of death as a head injury through a sustained assault with a heavy blunt object.

Mr Tadewicz has been remanded in custody and will appear in Croydon Crown Court on Thursday.

The incident was the fourth killing in the capital in as many days and comes shortly after the number of homicides in London reached 100 for the year.
