Four people have been arrested after gun shots were fired into two properties during broad daylight in north west London.

Police were called to Gloucester Close, Stonebridge, at 12.49pm yesterday after a man was seen entering a property with a gun.

Before firearms officers arrived at the scene shots were fired into two addresses in Bruce Road and Casselden Road. No-one was injured.

Police searched a number of houses in Casselden Road, with support from the Met helicopter.

A spokesman for the Met said: “Firearms officers managed to trace and stop a Vauxhall Corsa believed to be involved in the incident.

“Three men were subsequently arrested on suspicion of fire arms offences and they remain in custody. The female driver of the Corsa was also arrested and she remains in custody.”
