A bogus delivery man barged into a pensioner's hallway and attacked her before raiding her house.

Scotland Yard this evening appealed for witnesses to the broad daylight attack, which happened in north London on June 27, and released a picture of a man they believe has information about it.

The victim, in her 60s, answered the door at about 11.30am to a man who claimed he had a delivery for her.

He shoved past and threw her to the ground before grabbing some nearby cash and running off.

The cruel attack in Shoot-Up Hill, Kilburn, left the victim in hospital - though fortunately she was not badly injured.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Met's Brent police team on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference number 1914855/15.
