A minicab diver was dragged out of his car by the throat and knocked unconscious in a road rage attack near to a busy London Tube station.
The 36-year-old victim was left with scars to his face after he was repeatedly punched by two thugs during the late-night assault in Bethnal Green.
Police said the two suspects got out of their car at a set of traffic lights along Cambridge Heath Road and confronted the minicab driver over a minor crash.
They are alleged to have opened his car door and punched him in the face before dragging him out of the car by the throat.
He suffered repeated blows to the face until he was knocked unconscious in the attack at about 10pm on July 12.
A shocked passer-by called paramedics who took the victim to an east London hospital.
Police said the driver of the suspect vehicle is described as a light skinned black man, aged in his 20s, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build and clean shaven.
The front seat passenger is described as a light skinned black man, aged in his 20s, 6ft 3ins tall, of slim build with short dark hair. Both men wore dark clothing.
Police have released grainy CCTV footage of the incident and are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed it.
