A cyclist is fighting for life after being hit by a lorry in south east London.

The 46-year-old man remains in a critical condition in London after colliding with a lorry on Romney Road, near Greenwich Park.

He was taken to a south London hospital following the collision at around 4.30pm on Wednesday. His family has been informed.

The lorry driver and their passenger were also treated for injuries at the scene.

The driver stopped at the scene and was not arrested.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Met Police on the non-emergency number 101.
