A care worker who is suspected of attacking a disabled boy is pictured in a CCTV image released for the second time by police today.

The woman is accused of hitting the four-year-old child, who needs 24-hour care and is unable to communicate verbally, at his home in Hackney, leaving him with two bruises.

The incident was captured on CCTV footage while the woman looked after him between March 8 and 9 in 2012, Scotland Yard said as it re-launched an appeal to find the attacker.

Detectives investigating the case interviewed a woman who identified herself as 34-year-old Bola Bolatiwa, but they now believe she was using false identity.

They are looking for the woman pictured, who is black, about 5'0" and of heavy build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Nareece Chrisite on 020 8217 6556, quoting reference 4606274/12 or speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
