The woman, who is reportedly in her 40s, was repeatedly stabbed in her back, neck and shoulder in an attack in Woking, Surrey.

The teenager was then arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

The Sunday Times reported that the victim was 42 and was the mother of the boy who was arrested.

She is now said to be in a serious but stable condition after the incident on Friday.
