A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after being stabbed on a bus in east London.

The victim, aged 17, managed to escape onto Bethnal Green Road after the attack at 5.50pm on Sunday.

He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as “not life-threatening”.

There have been no arrests.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD5337/19Feb. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
