The lifts are running, the restaurants are open and the pistes are bashed. For the first time in a long time, we can confidently book that alpine adventure and hit the slopes.

And after such a lengthy hiatus, the style set is in agreement: this season it’s all about peacocking in the pow in high-shine metallics.

Kendall Jenner kickstarted the trend sliding around the slopes of Colorado’s Aspen in January wearing a Bacofoil-esque silver puffer jacket from Lanvin. Paired with black trousers and a black helmet, Jenner’s look was superbly spacey and attention-grabbing – perfect for anyone looking to show off their slalom skills.
