Even prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, supermodel Naomi Campbell has been known to be ultra-cautious when she flies - bringing her own antibacterial wipes, seat cover and (in recent months) an entire hazmat suit and latex gloves to keep her safe from any diseases on planes.
Yesterday, Campbell revealed that she had added yet another protective layer to her flight hygiene suit - a face shield.
Campbell posted a picture of herself to Instagram on a jet wearing the full-face visor (which featured the words “Face Shield” at the top), her protective goggles, white mask and her hazmat suit.
Her pink seat cover, which Campbell previously showed off in a YouTube video about her plane hygiene routine, could also be seen in the background.
She captioned her post, “On the move…”
Campbell added an additional comment underneath as well which read “Goggles too.”
It is not known where Campbell was flying to or if she had chosen to fly commercial.
She appears to have already reached her destination, as she posted a selfie on Sunday of herself using a Pat McGrath Snapchat filter - hazmat suit and face shield nowhere to be seen.
Campbell previously posted a video of her plane routine to her YouTube channel, which saw her explain that she “cleans everything you touch” with Dettol antibacterial wipes on a plane before she sits down.
At the time, she said, “This is what I do on every plane I get on. I do not care what people think of me. It’s my health and it makes me feel better.”
