Harry Styles has developed his own, unique style as a performer since leaving One Direction, and that was no more apparent than at the Gucci Cruise after party in Rome on Tuesday night.

Styles, who is one of the brand’s ambassadors, performed for A-listers at the party as legions of screaming fans waited for him outside. But he only had eyes for his duet partner: Stevie Nicks.

The pair surprised guests including Elton John, Salma Hayek and Zoe Saldana by performing some of Fleetwood Mac’s most iconic tunes, including an emotional rendition of 'Landslide.' Dressed in contrasting black and white outfits, Styles kept his pink sunglasses on as he joined Nicks on stage.

This isn’t the first time the duo has sung together. Nicks, who has previously said Styles is somebody “that I’ve become really good friends with over the last several years”, brought Styles onstage to stand in for Tom Petty as they sung 'Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around' at her Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction earlier this year.

Styles also covered iconic Fleetwood Mac track 'The Chain' for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge series and the video has over 14 million views on YouTube.

After video footage of Nicks and Styles’ Gucci Cruise after party performances surfaced, fans were thrilled at the pair-up.

Others called for them to release an album together.

Styles also drew attention for his striking outfit, which consisted of a cream double breasted suit, white tank top and Gucci clutch. He finished the look off with a pair of pink sunglasses, chunky rings and a pastel pink and green manicure.

Earlier that day, the Gucci Cruise security team had worked hard as Styles’ fans waited outside the show. On Twitter one user filmed Styles’ fans screaming as he walked past, fighting so hard to get a photograph they nearly knocked over the barricades.

In the video, Styles can be seen running forward to try to help fans from being crushed as the barricades begin to tip over.

However, the singer was held back as security members dashed forwards to diffuse the situation. Before going inside, Styles stopped to make sure fans and the security team were okay before blowing a kiss to the crowd as he departed.
