Tory party is killing itself over Europe says UKIP

The Tories are "killing themselves" by not having a policy of withdrawal from the EU, the UK Independence Party warned.

UKIP leader Roger Knapman also predicted his party would poll more votes than the Conservatives in scores of seats at the next election because it opposed Turkish entry to Europe. The warnings came as the anti-EU party held a packed meeting in Bournemouth less than a mile from the Tory party conference.
