You don?t have to be James Bond to enjoy the spins and wins of casinos ? nowadays they are far more accessible and welcoming to novices.

One such casino is the Palm Beach in Berkeley Street. Formerly the Mayfair Hotel, it boasts a grand art deco ballroom and is FREE to join. (Although you do have to join at least 24 hours before you want to visit)

The tables are open to all members allowing you to play American Roulette, Blackjack, Casino Stud Poker, Punto Banco (Baccarat), Electrontic Roulette and of course the slot machines. It?s one of the largest gaming floors in London with an average spend in the region of £600!

Members can take up to six guest.

Don?t worry if you feel slightly jealous of the big winners because with a bit of coaching you could be joining them! The Palm Beach?s expertly trained staff will happily show you the ropes, all you have to do is ask.

But even if you?re a little reluctant to spend your hard-earned salary on the floor, you can watch all the exciting play from the restaurant, which offers a great selection of European, Middle Eastern, Indian and Thai food.

If you?re still there in the early hours and need to recharge your batteries then there?s also breakfast served between 1.30 and 2.30am.
