Thames Trains faces Paddington fine

THAMES Trains will on Thursday be sentenced for breaching safety laws in connection with the 1999 Ladbroke Grove rail crash in which 31 people died. It faces unlimited fines after pleading guilty.

The Thames Trains rail franchise is operated by the Go-Ahead Group but will shortly be passed to rival FirstGroup.
