Tax refunds boost sales at Wal-Mart

THE world's biggest retailer, Wal-Mart, says it still expects to reach the high end of its forecast for a 4% to 6% increase in March same-store sales, which were boosted by the arrival of cutomers' tax refund cheques.

The Target retail chain also expects March same-store sales to exceed forecasts.
