'Spymaster sent me a text asking if I was undressed'

A "sex pest" spymaster sent a text to an agent asking if she "was undressed" during the night, a tribunal heard today.

The manager, known only as Mr F, also emailed the woman, Miss D, to ask if the sexually transmitted condition chlamydia "was serious" as he plagued her to have an affair with him, it is claimed.

The alleged sexual harassment campaign became so much that she eventually asked the human resources department at the government intelligence unit "when the f**k is he ever going to realise it isn't going to happen?"

At one point Miss D even suggested that he have an affair with another member of staff to "get him off my back", she said.

Continuing to give evidence from behind a screen to protect her identity, Miss D told Central London Employment Tribunal of a time Mr F had been to the doctors about his psoriasis. After emailing him to say she hoped the appointment had gone well, he replied: "Is chlamydia serious?"

She denied that she saw it as a joke, adding: "I thought, why is he sending something of a sexual nature again? Why do it? I thought, oh my God, here we go again ... He sent my something about chlamydia which I didn't think was ideal considering he was sexually harassing me."

She told the tribunal of an occasion that he told her he was going to take a "sickie" off work and then texted her asking: "You didn't get undressed during the night, did you?" and told her to "give me a shout" if she got bored.

The woman is claiming sexual harassment. Mr F and the secret intelligence unit both deny the claims.
