Richard and Judy's sex chat

13 April 2012

TV hosts Richard and Judy gave viewers an insight into their sex lives yesterday - by talking about how many calories they burn up as they romp.

The husband and wife team let slip their performance as they conducted a new year weight loss experiment on their Channel 4 show.

Richard Madeley also told how he and Judy Finnigan had sex in their dressing room.

They wanted to compare calorie burning in the gym and the bedroom and sent two couples off to find out how they fared.

But as Judy told viewers that their lusty volunteers had headed to a local hotel to make love, Richard interrupted: "We have dressing rooms Judy for that kind of thing."

And then he told viewers about one of his own recent sexual encounters.
"The other night I marched into the bathroom and thought 'there's another 30 calories gone'.

Saucy Judy hit back: "Which for five seconds is not bad going."

Several stars have claimed that sex is the perfect tonic for weight loss and keeping in shape including Kelly Brook and Martine McCutcheon.

Just one of the partners in each relationship was monitored for tonight's show.
The male volunteer in one couple burned off more calories in bed, while the woman in the other couple used up a roughly equal amount for both sex and the gym.
