Rachel 'raw' over Rod split

Rod Stewart's ex-wife Rachel Hunter says she is still receiving counselling for depression three years after walking out on the rock star.

The 32-year-old mother of two says she has now "reached rock bottom" and adds: "I am as fragile as it is possible to be. I am shredded to the core. There have been days recently when I have not been able to leave the house because I have been so low. I need to finalise the Rod part of my life so I can move on ... I feel so raw."

Hunter admits she "longs" for a new boyfriend to look after her, but has had only "a few mad flings" since leaving Stewart, 57.
