Plane lands upside down at US airport

A Second World War plane flipped over while landing at Reagan National Airport in Washington DC.

The pilot said the plane flipped over its nose when he squeezed the brakes and landed upside down.

Both the pilot and a Washington Post reporter who was onboard escaped injury.

The aircraft was flying with other biplanes to promote the opening of a 3D film called Legends of Flight.
