Patient on the run as neighbour is stabbed to death

A mental health patient is on the run after his next-door neighbour was stabbed to death outside his home.

Detectives have taken the unusual step of identifying Theophilos Theophilou as their main suspect. He has a history of mental illness and was released back into the community only a few months ago.

Father-of-two Simon Breed, 51, fell dying into the arms of his wife after staggering to his front door after the frenzied attack outside his home in Wood Green. A Met police spokesman said the attack appeared to be motiveless.
