Park and shower at Soho cycle club

12 April 2012

London is to have its first private members' club for cyclists.

Not only will users be able to shower at the H2 club in Soho after their cycle to work, they will be able to park their bikes, leave equipment there and use the gym.

The club, believed to be the first in the world, will even provide a dry cleaning and laundry service, towel and locker hire and bike repairs.

The club, which is to open in April, will charge a membership fee of £39.99 a month (£27.99 off peak).

It is the idea of property developer and keen cyclist Piers Slater, 39, who became fed up with arriving at work hot and sweaty every day.
