Parents 'make children fat'

PARENTS are to blame for their children being obese, according to a leading dietician.

Paul Sacher, a specialist at Great Ormond Street Hospital, said: "If a child has both parents overweight, not even obese, they have a 60 per cent bigger chance of becoming obese."

Mr Sacher said the focus needed to move away from schools to families. In London, one in three children is either obese or overweight.
