New votes blow for Disney chief

ALMOST three-quarters of employees in Walt Disney's retirement plan voted to oust chief executive Michael Eisner in a poll held last month. Two-thirds also voted to get rid of chairman George Mitchell.

The detailed results, released by dissident former directors Roy Disney and Stanley Gold, are a further embarrassment to Eisner and the Disney board but analysts said they would not force Eisner's departure.
