Marshall triples Invensys stake

INVENSYS chairman Lord Marshall has ploughed nearly £30,000 into shares in the industrials group, tripling his holding. Marshall bought 50,000 shares at 59.62p each earlier today. That compares with an opening price of 63.75p.

The stock was trading at 58.75p by early afternoon, handing Marshall a paper loss of around £435.

Marshall, a founder member of the Invensys board, now holds 0.0021% of the equity. He is also chairman of British Airways, deputy chairman of BT Group and a non-executive director of HSBC.
