Jack Tweed 'raped teenager as friend blocked escape'

A student today described the "terrifying" rape ordeal she was allegedly subjected to by Jack Tweed, the widower of Jade Goody.

The woman, aged 19 at the time of the attack, told the jury at Snaresbrook crown court how she was pushed into a bedroom and raped by Tweed while the door was held shut by his friend Anthony Davis.

The "shy" victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said the pair twice tried to trap her in a bedroom at Tweed's house in Woodford Green, east London, after she met them earlier in the Embassy nightclub in Mayfair.

The student said the men tried to remove her underwear but she resisted and tried to "laugh off" the situation.

She said: "Jack was in front of me and Anthony was behind me. I was trying to joke it off and move my body away.

"When they asked Do you want to do a threesome?' I said no, more than once."

When asked by Linda Strudwick, prosecuting, if she "wanted what was happening to happen" the student said no and that she had made that clear.

Ms Strudwick, prosecuting, told the court Davis held the door shut telling Tweed, "Don't worry Jack, do what you've got to do".

The court heard the "terrified" teenager was then raped by Tweed and forced to perform a sex act on Davis.

The teenager's friends shouted "are you ok?" through the closed door but Tweed told her to say that she was and she complied out of fear.

The student managed to escape when the door was pushed open again. Ms Strudwick said the girl was "shaking and upset" and told her friends that she wanted to leave. They drove her to a police station at 4am on 4 September where she reported the alleged rape.

Tweed, who married Big Brother star Goody, 27, shortly before she lost her battle against cervical cancer in March last year, was arrested later that day as was Davis.

Tweed, 22, denies two counts of rape while property developer Davis, 26, denies one count of rape. The trial continues.
