Flying start for Yell with £188m profit

MAIDEN interims from Yell met City expectations and the directories group said it was on track to meet full-year forecasts. Yell, floated in July at 285p, raised profits by 13% to £188m before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, on sales ahead 7% to £569m. The dividend is 3p.
