Film-makers take short cut to Sundance

12 April 2012

The winner of a new short film competition will get to premiere their work at Robert Redford's Sundance London festival.

Greenwich council is organising the competition which invites UK-based film-makers to enter original pieces between three and five minutes long on the theme of Story of Our Time.

Redford, founder of the original Sundance in America, said: "We are living through arguably some of the most profound years of rapid change in our lifetimes. Reflections and stories from film-makers around the unifying theme of 'Story of Our Time' we hope will open a window into both the challenge and the inspiration of these days."

Sundance London will take place at the 02 from April 26 to 29. www.sundance-london.com
