Fancy wig Madonna heads for court

Robert Mendick13 April 2012

With the end of her custody battle in sight, Madonna could be excused a night out in fancy dress.

She was photographed leaving the Kabbalah centre in New York in a black wig and school uniform.

Her rumoured latest boyfriend Jesus Luz, dressed as The Joker, followed her out, accompanied by Jessica Seinfeld, the wife of the comedian Jerry Seinfeld.

Madonna is expected in a New York court tomorrow to ratify an agreement already thrashed out in London with ex-husband Guy Ritchie over the living arrangements of their two sons.

Details of the arrangements - kept secret under English law - are expected to be made public at the hearing.

An agreement reached tomorrow will make the deal legally binding in the US, preventing either party contesting it at a later date and bringing to an end a divorce that has been remarkably amicable.

It is likely to reveal that Madonna, 50, has full charge of Rocco, eight, and three-year-old David, who is adopted, giving her the green light to leave London and live in New York full time.

Ritchie, 40, is expected to buy an apartment in the city, allowing frequent access to the children. Ritchie received as much as £45 million compensation for eight years of marriage to Madonna.

The divorce details could prove embarrassing for Madonna, although not as embarrassing perhaps as wearing a cheap wig in public.

She was in fancy dress to celebrate the Jewish festival of Purim, in which participants are commanded to get drunk.
