Ever fancied living in a home fit for a VIP?

Now even the most humble of abodes can be kitted out with celebstyle furnishings, aptly named Very Important Products and starting at a very modest £25.

An array of stars has been commissioned by Habitat to create stylish pieces to celebrate the store's 40th anniversary.

Milliner Philip Treacy came up with a retro armchair costing £1,200, and band Daft Punk have created a Led Zeppelin-inspired coffee table which will set you back £1,000.

For those who want celeb chic on a slightly slimmer budget, why not invest in an aluminium shoe horn by Manolo Blahnik at £25, or Ewan McGregor's director's chair for £150.

The range, which includes a clock, tables, mirrors and even a velvet safe, costs a total of £5,412. World freedive champion Tanya Streeter designed a set of champagne flutes complete with bubbles in the stem.

She said she created the look as a tribute to her underwater support team, whose bubbles are a comfort to her when she is under the waves.

She added: 'We do celebrate with a lot of champagne at these record attempts, so it all made perfect sense really. I've always wanted a creative outlet so I really enjoyed the project and I love the way the flutes have turned out.'

The designs include furniture, glassware, lighting, homeware and office storage and will be available in Habitat stores across Britain and Europe from tomorrow.

Other celebs who took to the design board included Lennox Lewis (alarm clock) and Linford Christie (wooden shoe storage boxes) - they both came up with items which they felt reflected their careers.

Habitat creative director Tom Dixon said: 'For our anniversary year, we needed to create something out of the ordinary.

'By working with non-traditional homeware designers we have managed to gain a different perspective, allowing us to create a wonderfully broad series of products.'
