Baywatch star in drink clinic

Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff has checked into the Betty Ford Centre in Palm Springs after a drinking binge in a hotel that left him unconscious.

His agent said the 50-year-old actor "realised his social drinking had increased more than he was comfortable with and he decided to do something about it".
