BA pilot in court charged with murdering wife

The estranged husband of missing millionairess Joanna Brown appeared in court today charged with her murder and disposing of her body.

British Airways pilot Robert Brown, 47, appeared before Slough magistrates and spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth.

At the same time police switched their search for Mrs Brown's body to Royal Windsor Great Park.

She vanished from her £3 million home in Ascot on Sunday and was reported missing on Monday. Brown, of Winkfield, Berkshire, was remanded in police custody.
