Robbie Williams is leaving LA and returning to live in Britain as soon as work is complete on his home in west London.

The singer’s American actress wife Ayda Field recently joined the Loose Women panel and has proved a hit on the ITV lunchtime show. She also stars in Channel 4’s political sitcom Power Monkeys, so the couple, who have a young daughter and son, plan to make the UK their permanent base from autumn.

Williams, who bought the £17.5 million home from Michael Winner’s estate — and upset Led Zeppelin rocker Jimmy Page, a neighbour, with the building plans — is selling his Beverly Hills mansion for £8.3 million.

In nearly an acre, it has views of the San Fernando Valley, seven bedrooms, and a recording studio off the master suite where the Robster writes songs.
