Taco Bell London: A first look at the Hammersmith restaurant
Back in October, Taco Bell announced it would be bringing its Mexican comfort food to London, with plans to open three new restaurants before Christmas.
The first London restaurant in Hammersmith opened its doors today at 10.30am and was the first Taco Bell to launch in London since the two original sites closed in the 1990s.
Bespoke Taco Bell t-shirts were given to the first 100 customers through the doors this morning, each adorned with a number 1 to 100, depending on the space they held in the queue.
What’s on the Taco Bell menu in London?
The UK menu offers tex-mex foods from tacos and burritos to nachos and features popular US dishes such as the Crunchwrap Supreme – a tortilla stuffed with either beef, chicken or refried beans, served in a tostada shell — and the Crunchy Taco.
The hefty Big Bell Box — which combines a burrito, taco, nachos, churros and a soft drink into one box — is also available along with the Ultimate Mate Date deal which boasts a quesadilla, two grillers, two burritos, nachos or fully-loaded fries and four drinks. On Taco Tuesdays, diners can get a taco and a Sol beer for £2.

Where else will Taco Bell open in London?
The Mexican restaurant chain will launch its new venues in Holborn next week on November 30 and in Fulham Broadway shortly after, with plans to expand across the UK.
Where did Taco Bell come from?
Founded in 1962 in California, the American chain is named after founder Glen Bell and presently has more than 7,000 restaurants internationally, with 27 in the UK.
