The second annual A Good Dinner, which saw Tom Kerridge team up with steak connoisseur Hawksmoor, has raised £150,000 for charity.

The dinner, which was set up in 2017, benefits three domestic and international charities which aim to relieve food and water poverty worldwide. Action Against Hunger, The One Foundation and Magic Breakfast will be the beneficiaries of the staggering sum raised.

While Michelin-starred pub owner Tom Kerridge lead the Hawksmoor team in the kitchen, wines were chosen and served by merchants Bibendum, and quirky London bar favourites Mr Fogg’s was in charge of the cocktail provision. Besdies ticket sales, money was also raised through a silent auction that saw diners bid for restaurant-related prizes.

“A Good Dinner was set up so the hospitality industry could help some amazing charities, so it was great to see such a fantastic turnout and the generosity of the guests,” said Hawksmoor co-founder Will Beckett.

“From Tom Kerridge, who cooked with us, to Access Hospitality, who sponsored the event, it’s really heartening to see how the industry rallies around causes like these.”
