Skinny Sprinkles sachet

The nauseating stink of strawberry bootlaces... one sip is enough
1 May 2012

What: Skinny Sprinkles sachet (£29.95/one box of 21 sachets)

Where from: Online from skinnysprinkles.co.uk

Taste assessment: “Less than 20 calories per stick,” claims the spotted pink sachet.  “Strawberry smoothie flavour” it says in friendly pink italics.  Once I’ve got past the nauseating stink of strawberry bootlaces, mixed some of the powder into a cup of water and stirred hard, this murky brown-pink coloured liquid looks good enough to… throw away. More importantly, it tastes too sweet and fake to want to have more than a sip or two. This may be a weight loss aid – “two of its active ingredients Glucomnnan and Inulin make you feel fuller thereby controlling hunger, reducing the urge to snack and helping to control the size of meal portions” it states in the FAQs section – but why anyone would want to drink this is beyond me.
