Down the cakehole: seaweed thins

3 May 2012

Eating a whole packet of Itsu’s new crispy seaweed thins (“12 thins ... 32 calories!” it says on the front in pink) does not mean you will end up looking like the girls in bikinis adorning the packet, sadly.

But this bizarre snack tastes better than it sounds. Granted, the seaweed leaves are as thin as rice paper, overpriced, and the bottle green sprinkles will almost certainly end up all over your desk, but it is strangely satisfying putting a sheet of something crispy, salty and fishy on your tongue at a certain time in the afternoon.
